Here’s something you don’t see every day. I’ve decided to let us a few of my SEALED marvel studio animation cases go. Finding stuff like this is basically unheard of. This is for one original sealed case (titles listed below in following paragraph. YOU CHOOSE WHICH SERIES !) purchased directly from an ex marvel employees widow. Many years back.The employees brother and him lucked out and were able to purchase most if not all of the Art from these narvel films/shows. There was a warehouse FULL! One of most amazing things I have run across as an animation dealer. This case is filled with original layout drawings inside the original production folders . Once again, it has never been opened. These cases can be absolute gold mines. It varies from case to case. Some are better than others, but there is definitely money to be made in each and every case. The last and only cases sold (15-20) 5 years ago almost instantly through eBay or Facebook ( I can’t remember) for 2-3.5k each with no complaints. I purchased roughly 120 to 140 cases years back. I have sealed cases from the following marvel, animated movie/series: guardians of the Galaxy, avengers, assemble, fantastic four: worlds greatest heroes, Hulk and the agents of S.M.A.S.H, and ultimate Spider-Man and Dr. Strange Sorcerer supreme (movie). I am willing to sell a few cases from each series. I have enough cases to last me a lifetime. I will never get to them all so sadly I need to let a few go. Maybe more depending on the deal. Only a small amount of cases have been sold EVER (15-20( other than the entire collection of cases purchased by me and one other large dealer who only sells the art from them in very small random lots. You can see examples of the actual art pulled from a previous case listed in my marvel section in my eBay shop. In the last set of 7 pictures I ripped open a box from the ultimate Spider-Man animated series to give you guys an idea of what to expect. In that particular box, there was roughly 28 folders filled with layout drawings. I then took out a folder and then took out the stack of drawings inside that folder. The amount of art in each folder varies anywhere from roughly 20 layouts to 150 depending on the folder but if I remember correctly there are anywhere from 1.5-2.5k drawings per box.Details on this below!there were no cels created for these series/movies) the art was hand drawn overseas by animation companies hired by marvel. The drawings was then used as references to digitally animate the films/shows. Due to the nature of these boxes these cases are sold as is . No refunds. This is due to the fact that people can purchase a case then cherry pick ( take out the good art then return the rest) so NO RETURNS!! if you are worried about this than do not purchase this lot. It’s not for you. CASE QUALITY BELOW: The quality of art in each case varies from case to case. Some cases or gold mines. Others not so much. If this is a problem then this listing is not for you. You could run into a single folder with 50-100. Good quality Spider-Man layout drawings for example. The next would have maybe 20 and the rest are partial layouts ( legs. Heads, arms. And so on). If this is a problem, do not buy this lot. Some cases will have drawings to big to fit inside the folders, and will be damaged ( bent/folds on corners). I included a picture at the very end showing an example or two of this. It’s not a big deal. Usually it’s just a few drawings but does happen! What you can do with these type of drawings is trim them down. It’s a little trick I’ve learned after going through so many cases. Easy little hack. If you decide to buy a case think of it as a safe gamble. You will get your money back over time regardless more than likely . You could also get 2-6 times your investment depending on your sales model/connections. I have gone through maybe 20 to 30 cases myself and I’m being 100% transparent. These cases would be ideal for comic book shops, resellers of any type, comi-cons, YouTube videos, comic book/animation/marvel enthusias. These cases are very exciting to open. You never know what you’re going to get. Once again, all of the marvel drawings in my eBay shops, marvel section were pulled directly from these cases. Go check them out.
